Say hello to little Luki!

Some really good news: Little Luki joined the lion family this morning (6/11). It looks like the mother is very proud of her son. The christening will take place this evening in the animal kingdom.

The mother is doing very well

The mother, Liana only has an eye for her son, which is totally understandable of course. It looks like she will be a very good mother. The birth was very unexpected because we thought it would take a little longer. The lioness is in a very good health and you hardly notice her pregnant belly at all. So we had no idea how far she was.

We will broadcast the baptism on big screen

People are not allowed in the animal kingdom tonight. But we will broadcast the baptism on a big screen in the village at 7 o’clock. We will charge a small entrance fee of 3 mufas per person. There will also be a nice drink and snacks waiting for you.

No jeep safaris until Monday

There will be no more jeep safaris until Monday. We want to give the mother and newborn a moment’s peace of mind. But from Monday onwards the newborn will shine during the safaris, so book in time! We expect to be fully booked soon!
